Grandma Vesta Lost Her U.S. Citizenship!

Grandma Vesta was always very proud to be an American. She treasured her right to vote and took her duties as a U.S. citizen very seriously. So that made this discovery of her Application to Take the Oath of Allegiance even more surprising and poignant.

According to this application she may have lost her citizenship by marriage to a citizen of Canada. Apparently she did not hesitate to take her Oath of Allegiance to the United States to reclaim her treasured citizenship.
